The fact that so much great art is about one's imagination, the idea of
authenticity has surfaced. The idea of authenticity also asks the question,
what is unauthentic and what is appropriation? Then does one idea change enough
that can start to become a new artist's idea?
I hope to use authenticity and originality in all of my artwork. By having my own personal views on art, medium, and content, I will be able to have genuine ideas that will come from all of that and out with raise my own authentic works of art. I will achieve authenticity in my work through taking my own photography, printing and inking my own prints and allowing credit to artists I have appropriated.
